After many years of wanting to have old photos restored for my family, I finally decided to go ahead and do it. My cousin's wife recommended Unisignco (formerly Bay Area Imaging), as she had once used them for photo restoration herself and was very happy with the results. It was very easy to get in touch with them, and they provided all the info I could have asked for. I stupidly waited too long to get them the originals, and I told them that I was really hoping to give these out as Christmas gifts but that I understood it might not be possible within the time frame. The original photos were badly scratched and faded, so my hopes weren't high. Not only did they get the job done early so I could have them for gifts, but they did a fantastic job on the photos themselves. The scratches and damage are completely gone, and they were even able to enlarge them! Something about seeing old photos in color really makes them seem more contemporary.
