Custom Signs

Custom work starts with something that does not come off a shelf. Some clients arrive with print ready files, others with a logo, a photo of something they liked, or a sketch on the back of an envelope. Our design team works from any of those, and you see a proof before anything gets fabricated.

Neon is the clearest example of why this category exists. The company started in 1968 as a small Lafayette shop specializing in electric neon signs, and we still bend and service glass in house alongside LED. A client who wants genuine neon and a client who wants that look built in LED can both be handled properly, by people who work in both.

Acrylic signs, custom decals, magnetic signs and vinyl cover the everyday custom range, from lobby logos and window graphics to vehicle lettering and removable magnetics for a fleet. Trade show displays round it out for anything that has to travel, set up quickly and pack back down at the end of the show.

Every custom job starts with artwork. You can send finished files through our upload page, or bring us a logo, a photograph or a sketch and let our design team draw it. Either way you see a proof before anything is cut, bent or printed, and nothing goes to the floor until you have signed off on it.

The next question is usually material and light. Acrylic holds crisp edges and takes color well for interior work. Formed and painted metal suits exterior letters that have to live outdoors on the Gulf Coast. Genuine neon and LED both light a sign, and they behave differently in cost, brightness and servicing, which is a conversation worth having before the design is locked rather than after.

Fabrication happens in our own shops in Scott, Louisiana and Santa Fe, Texas. That matters for a custom piece more than a catalog one: when a shape is unusual, the people building it can walk the job over to the person who drew it. It also means the crew that installs your sign, and the crew that services it later, work for the same company that made it.
